PROFESSIONAL PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT AND EXPERIENCE 

The Supreme Court lawyer and Council of State Nicholas J. Kroupas, from the year 1997 to date has been: 

- Special partner - legal adviser to the Minister of Culture

- Member of the Working Group formed for conferences under the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008.

- Member of the Working Group formed for the programmatic contracts the Ministry of Culture, chaired by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture.

- Board Member of the "A.S.O.’s Special Fund for Concert Organization " Athens State Orchestra ( NPID supervised by the Ministry of Culture).

- Deputy President of the Commission formed to showcase the contractors that will undertake projects as shops creation, in archaeological places and museums in Islands and Peloponnese.

- Member of the Committee for the vacancy notice and the choice of the CEO of the Societe Anonyme with the name: "Organization Horseracing Greece SA ( ODIE SA )". 

- Member of Committee of Ministry Culture formed for the syntax of issue with the specifications on the attendance in the competition of projection of New Acropolis Museum. 

- Member of the Board of the  “Archaeological Receipts Fund” (Public Entity supervised by the Ministry of Culture). 

- Member of the Working Group in the frame of the Service of Management of Operational Program "OP CULTURE" to compile the standard manual of procedures for the certification of management competence of Regional and Special Regional Services General Directorate of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage under the Operational Programs under the NSRF 2007-2013. 

- Secretary of the Performance Committee open regular international competition formed for the choice of contractor and for the evaluation of offers for the project "Establishment and Support of the New Acropolis Museum's Inauguration." 

- He has also performed teaching duties as associate professor in the Faculty of Cadet Officers of the Greek Police, in the cognitive object of the criminal procedure law, at educational years 2005-2008. 

- Member of the Legislative Committee of  Ministry of Culture formed for the elaboration of the draft law entitled "Theory , Foundation and Operation of Greek Archaeological Schools Abroad and other provisions." 

- Member of Committee for the legal and administrative support of application of provisions of Law 3028/2002 “On the protection of Antiquities and in general the cultural heritage”. 

- Legal Counsel - Lawyer in private legal entity called "MANAGEMENT FUND APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROJECT"

SCIENCE EDUCATION AND ACTION 

The lawyer Nicholaos I. Kroupas in the following periods has participated: 

-15/17.3.1996 : In the work of the 6th Panhellenic Conference of the Greek Association of Penal Law, held in Larissa, on "Evidence in Criminal Trial." 

- 28/30.3.1997 : In the work of the 1st International Congress of Union of Greek Criminal lawyers, held in Athens (EUGENIDES FOUNDATION), on "The institutional role of defense counsel in criminal trial (Lecture - Perspective)." 

- 20/22.10.1997 : As a founding member in the work of the 1st Balkan Conference Criminal Procedural Law organized by the Institute of Criminal Procedural Law , Faculty of Law DUTH ( Komotini ) , on " Guarantees protection of fundamental rights of the individual and the form of criminal trial." 

- June 1995 to February 2006 : the generally educational process of the course of criminal procedural law in the above legal faculty of DUTH (sector of criminal and forensic science ) as scientific salaryless assistant. 

- 29.5.2000 : The lawyer Nicholaos I . Kroupas joined as a PhD candidate in Law Postgraduate Studies of the Democritus University of Thrace. Waiting for support and approval of the doctoral thesis for his inauguration as PhD of the Law Department of the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace." 

- 4/2/2014: The lawyer Nicholaos I. Kroupas has successfully completed a basic education program - training in Mediation (CERTIFICATE OF FOUNDATION MEDIATION SKILLS TRAINING) from "A.M.T.C." and "facilit8 UK". 

- 6/7 Μαρτίου 2014: The lawyer Nicholaos Kroupas participated in European Conference and under the Greek Presidency of the European Union Council, held in Zappeion, on "Safety & Security in Cyber Space:Building Up Trust in the EU".  

- The Lawyer Nicholaos I. Kroupas speaks German, French and English.
